Sacrifices and Symbols
1. The death of Christ is far better than all other sacrifices and all other symbols
2. Sacrifice is good to cover the sins of the people but God truly desires the hearts of the people to be right and devoted to Him
Surrender and service
1. Through baptism, we are in a covenant with God that drives our attitude and actions to be more like Christ
Salvation and sanctification
1. Christ’s sacrifice establishes a social link to God for us
2. We are cleaned through his blood in order for this to be possible
